Question 1

Are your prices competitive against other UK merchants?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We benchmark our catalogue against the major builders' merchants and online distributors and pass volume savings on through our trade pricing structure.

Question 2

Do you offer a price match?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We will match or beat any like-for-like written quotation from a comparable UK supplier on identical specification and lead time. Send the quote to our team and we will respond within one working day.

Question 3

Are prices shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT?

Accepted Answer

Prices on the website are shown excluding VAT by default for trade customers. VAT at the prevailing UK rate is added at checkout and itemised on your invoice.

Question 4

How much discount do trade customers receive?

Accepted Answer

Approved trade accounts receive a standard 5% trade discount applied automatically at checkout. Larger volumes and project quotations are priced separately and can unlock further savings.

Question 5

Do you offer volume or bulk discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pricing is reviewed on a project-by-project basis for bulk orders. Submit your requirements and we will return a competitive itemised quotation.

Question 6

How long is a quotation valid for?

Accepted Answer

Standard quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Material markets can move quickly, so we recommend confirming orders within this window.

Question 7

Are there any hidden charges?

Accepted Answer

No. Our quotations and order confirmations show product cost, delivery and VAT clearly. There are no handling, processing or account fees.

Question 8

Do prices change between quotation and invoice?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is locked at the point a quotation is accepted in writing or an online order is placed, provided it is within the quotation validity period.
